GED speaker at FenCon18 offers practical solutions of implementing automation, robotics and software in today’s window manufacturing environment
Winnipeg, Manitoba (Thursday, March 1, 2018) – GED, now located in Glenwillow, Ohio, is excited to sponsor FenCon18 and have a representative present in a speaker series and participate as an exhibitor.
Fenestration Manitoba is presenting FenCon18 March 1 – 2, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The event will feature educational sessions covering topics such as automation, energy efficiency, the recently updated North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS), coatings, social media and more.
GED will have a tabletop exhibit at the event, and will also be represented at an educational session where Bill Perry, Software Sales Manager for GED with 22 years of industry experience, will speak about the practical implementation of automation, robotics and software in window manufacturing.
“Improving your machine floor to be competitive in software, technology and robotics will increase quality and efficiency, and lower total costs,” said Perry.
FenCon18 attracts some of the most sophisticated software AND automation equipment companies – an ideal combination!
"I'm looking forward to sharing my expertise with manufacturers and those in the fenestration business, in hopes I'll inspire them to consider the way they automate and innovate.”
Perry was also chosen to be a panelist at the Opening Plenary Panel titled “Automation Technology Opens New Manufacturing Doors for Fenestration,” where he will join other leading experts to provide insight into key concepts in the area of production equipment development and software that takes window and door manufacturing to the next level.
After the panel event, attendees break off into groups and choose which presentations to see. Perry’s presentation will be Thursday, March 1 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.
